ACT Vet Presented at Veterans’ Mental Health Conference 2025
On Monday 19th May 2025, Jess Williams had the privilege of attending the Veterans' Mental Health Conference, organised by the King's Centre for Military Health Research (KCMHR). This sold-out event brought together leading academics, clinicians, and policymakers to explore strategies for improving mental health outcomes within the Armed Forces community.
Jess shared the findings of ACT Vet, our smartphone application designed to support UK veterans experiencing symptoms of PTSD and gambling harm. It was an honour to share the stage with leading voices in military mental health and to engage in discussions around innovative digital solutions. As NICE guidelines call for Armed Forces-specific treatments, our work contributes to a growing evidence base for accessible interventions, tailored to veterans' needs.
We are grateful to the Office for Veterans' Affairs (2023) for funding this project and to all who attended and shared their insights. For more information on our work, visit this page.
